I made new gallery and favourites folders for "other templates", so chibi papercraft templates that don't fit in any other folders can be submitted there.  However, I do realize there's a possibility that the folders could be abused, and people could submit stuff that doesn't belong in this group (either on purpose or by accident), so for now I'm going to be watching everything that goes in to make sure there aren't any mistakes.  Generally speaking, though, anything that is under one or two pages and doesn't have a lot of complicated parts can probably go in these folders. :D  Additionally, if there are any types of papercrafts that get a lot of submissions, I might consider making separate groups for them as well.  For now, though, please submit anything that doesn't belong in the other folders into the new one!

Are you asking how to build them, or how to design patterns?

There's a gallery folder with building tutorials and pattern templates here, and I've also made a pretty extensive post on useful information for making patterns here.  Hopefully you'll be able to find whatever information you need there!

In resources, there are a lot of tutorials on how to put them together. ^^ Or are you talking about designing them?

I personally use GIMP. I have a premade template that I put together or myself so I don't have to keep remaking.
I dunno how everyone else does it. lol

HI there, just wanted to ask who did the original concept for chibi papercraft??

Also whats the difference Niseke vs. Chibi????

I'm looking for the original artist who created the template.

I'm not really sure what you're asking.  Are you talking about a specific type of chibi template, or just all of them in general?

Generally this group uses "chibi template" to mean any papercraft that's "chibi" or super deformed and easy to build, so Niseke is a certain type of chibi template.  There are others, too, like cubees and ni-bi style papercraft, as well as a bunch of less well known ones.  Each type of chibi papercraft was designed by a different person (or group of people), and as far as I know there wasn't just one person who started the whole chibi template trend.

If you're talking about one specific type of template, then I could try and figure out what it is.  Otherwise, Niseke papercrafts were originally just designed by niseke, and nobody else needs credit (unless you're using someone else's template as a base, of course).  I could give you the link to the niseke website, if that would help.

Gah this is a pretty confusing answer but maybe it'll help?

Thank You for the reply......I was just wondering who created the Outline Template because I'm planning on redoing it in super high resolution and I didn't want any copyright issues.....like how I made cubeecraft XL I'm the holder of the master file.

Thanks for your help.
